Bookkeeper

Location: Bookkeeping Department, Sandy Office

Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Inputting client financial information into accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks or Peachtree)
  • Reconciling client bank accounts and preparing monthly financial statements
  • Preparing and issuing client payroll checks
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly payroll tax reports
  • Assessing and meeting write-up client needs
  • Handling IRS state tax payroll items

Technical Requirements

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Write-up/bookkeeping experience (preferred)
  • Experience preparing and submitting payroll checks and payroll tax reports (preferred)
  • At least one year experience using QuickBooks, Quicken, and/or Peachtree.

Educational Requirements

  • Associates Degree (preferred, but not required)

Compensation

  • $12-15/hour depending on experience
