• Experienced Bookkeeper/QuickBooks ConsultantLocation: Accounting Services Department, Sandy Office

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assess client accounting system needs, consult and train them in QuickBooks’ functions
    • Preparing monthly financial statements
    • Reviewing prepared financial statements and checking for accuracy and errors
    • Preparing and issuing client payroll checks
    • Preparing and submitting quarterly payroll tax reports
    • Handling IRS and state payroll tax correspondence
    • Inputting client financial information into accounting software

     

    Technical Requirements

    • QuickBooks proficiency – both desktop and online versions, all functions
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures (financial statements, general ledger)
    • 4+ yrs bookkeeping experience, including submitting payroll checks and payroll tax reports

    Educational Requirements

    • Associates Degree in Accounting (preferred, but not required)

     

    Compensation

    • $20-25/hour depending on experience
